The MN Permit to Carry Course is designed to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a permit to carry a firearm in the State of Minnesota.

It combines both theoretical and practical components to ensure participants are well-prepared and confident in their ability to responsibly open carry or conceal a handgun.

Participants will learn legal requirements, regulations, and responsibilities with a curriculum that covers:

• • Minnesota Gun Laws

• • Use of Force / Aftermath

• • Interaction With Law Enforcement

• • Situational Awareness

• • Conflict Resolution

• • Understanding of the legal and ethical considerations involved with the use of firearms in self-defense

This course is designed for those individuals who have a basic understanding of firearms or have completed a basic firearm safety course before enrolling in the Gun Permit Center MN Permit to Carry Course. This is not an Intro to Firearms or Basic Firearms Course.

Course length: 2.5 hours.
