Hi, I'm Krista. Along with my business partner Jay, we own and operate Gun Permit Center — your go-to resource for Minnesota Permit to Carry courses, training, and everything in between.
Jay and I have been friends for 16 years, co-workers even longer, and we share one obsession: investing in people while educating them. That passion led us to launch our first company, Spartan Safety & Security, LLC., and in December 2023 we added Gun Permit Center to the family.
Why? Because we wanted to make Minnesota Permit to Carry training more accessible — online, self-paced, and built for real life. But we never wanted it to feel transactional. Our goal has always been lifetime connections, not one-time customers.
Everything we do is guided by one simple idea: Live Happily and Safely. That mindset shapes how we build our courses, how we support our students, and how we show up for every single person who walks through our (virtual) door.
