Before you get started…

You can log in and log out and not lose your place. You will see a green check mark on the lessons you’ve already viewed.

You have UNTIL SATURDAY OCTOBER, 31st 2026 to complete the course, ANY course beyond that time is subject to an additional token fee.

Ready to begin? We suggest reading through all steps below first in order to answer potential questions.

Click on this link.
Add the MN Permit to Carry Online course to your cart.
Checkout using the coupon code you were provided on your receipt.
Create a username and password.
Log in under MY ACCOUNT.
Go to MY COURSES.
Click on MN Permit to Carry Online Hybrid.
Look for Lesson # 1 and click on the word Welcome to get started.
Click on each lesson and review all the topics within the lesson, until all lessons are complete.
You will need to mark each lesson as completed before you can go to the next lesson.
Once you complete all the lessons, quizzes, and pass the final test your online portion is complete!
When you have finished the online portion, you must *EMAIL US at info@gunpermitcenter.com to let us know you have finished.

There is no need to register for the shooting test, as you have already completed it at Ahlman’s during the Shooter’s Roundup event.

We will confirm you have completed the class and send your certificate.

Certificates are sent once a week on Friday.

Present your signed certificate to your local Sheriff’s office along with your application.

Accepted forms of payment – The process will be no more than $100, and will vary depending on initial or renewal applications
